The IRAAL-SAALinBiH Tandem Initiative Invitation to participate in our First Webinar focusing on the exchange of experiences in language teaching and research

On Monday, 6th April 2020

6.00 pm (London/Dublin), 7.00 pm (Sarajevo) time

The IRAAL-SAALinBiH tandem initiative aims to promote and foster links and collaboration between linguists, applied linguists, and educational practitioners in Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Our first webinar will focus on the exchange of experiences in teaching and research among our colleagues and associates from IRAAL and SAALinBiH.

The webinar will last for 1 hour and include 2 presentations of 20 minutes each from:

Laura Incalcaterra McLoughlin, National University of Ireland Galway, Ireland, on “Teaching and Learning Languages Online: Challenges and Opportunities”

Alma Jahić Jašić and Tanja Pavlović, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on “Writing a Master’s Thesis: Challenges and Coping Strategies”

Each presentation will be followed by open discussion and we are keen to hear from all participants about the challenges and opportunities they face in their classrooms and their educational contexts.

Following the webinar slides and recordings of the event will be available.

To participate please log on to the Guest link: you can join up to 60 minutes before it starts.
